MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) runs centralised MBBS/BDS admission for All India Quota (AIQ) seats — 15% of seats in government medical colleges, plus 100% of seats in AIIMS and JIPMER campuses. Admission is based on NEET UG rank. State domicile does not matter for AIQ seats. MCC conducts 3 regular rounds plus a Stray Vacancy round — register at the official MCC portal to participate.

Understanding NEET MCC AIQ 2024 Cutoff Ranks

The NEET MCC AIQ cutoff rank (closing rank) is the last NEET UG rank at which a seat in a specific medical college, course, category and round was allotted. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts centralised seat allocation for All India Quota seats — 15% of government medical college seats and 100% of AIIMS and JIPMER seats.

NEET MCC AIQ Cutoff Ranks – Frequently Asked Questions

With a NEET rank of 500 (UR category), you can get into AIIMS Jodhpur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh, Patna, or Raipur in Round 1 (all have UR closing ranks above 500 in 2024). AIIMS New Delhi closes around rank 50 — you'd need a rank of 50 or better. Use the filter above to check exact closing ranks across all AIIMS campuses.

AIQ (All India Quota): 15% of seats in government medical colleges + 100% of AIIMS and JIPMER seats. Open to candidates from any state — state domicile does not matter. Counselling by MCC. Cutoffs on this page are AIQ. State Quota (SQ): Remaining 85% of government medical college seats, filled through state counselling. Requires state domicile — typically more relaxed cutoffs for home state candidates.

MCC runs 3 rounds of seat allotment. In each round, candidates who withdraw or upgrade to a better seat free up seats for lower-ranked candidates. Round 3 and Stray Vacancy cutoffs are often more relaxed (higher rank numbers) than Round 1. Monitoring all rounds significantly improves your chances of getting a good seat.

JIPMER Puducherry MBBS AIQ 2024 Round 1 UR closing rank was approximately 1,200. OBC closed around 3,000 and SC around 8,000.
